Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

General Policy

Due to the nature of computer repair services, all sales are final. Refunds are issued only under the conditions outlined below.

 

Labor Charges

  • Labor fees are non-refundable once repair work has begun.

  • Diagnostic fees are non-refundable, as they cover time and expertise used to evaluate the device.

  • If a repair cannot be completed after work has begun, labor charges still apply.

 

Parts

  • Refunds or replacements for parts are handled under the 30-Day Limited Warranty.

  • Parts that are defective within 30 days may be replaced or refunded at the discretion of PC Taxi.

  • Special-order parts, opened parts, or installed parts are non-refundable unless defective.

 

Eligible Refunds

A refund may be issued if:

  • PC Taxi determines the repair was unsuccessful and cannot be corrected

  • A replacement part is unavailable and no equivalent substitute can be provided

  • The customer declines an alternative solution offered by PC Taxi

Any approved refund will be limited to the amount paid for the specific repair or part, excluding diagnostic fees.

 

Non-Refundable Items

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Software installations, operating system reloads, or updates

  • Virus or malware removal

  • Data backup, recovery, or transfer services

  • Issues caused by customer misuse, accidental damage, liquid damage, or power surges

  • Problems unrelated to the original repair

  • Devices not picked up within the agreed timeframe

 

Chargebacks

Customers are encouraged to contact PC Taxi directly before initiating a chargeback. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in loss of warranty coverage and service privileges.

 

Refund Method

  • Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method when possible

  • Processing time is typically 5–10 business days

 

Policy Acknowledgment

By authorizing repair services, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this refund policy.
